Love these shorts! I ordered a size large and could probably wear a medium! Normally wear size 9 in jeans. These shorts are so much more comfortable than other brands of running shorts! I ended up buying three other colors!
These are my new favorite shorts! I like that the inner spanx are more short shaped than brief shaped. I'm 5'3", 135lbs and the small is the perfect fit for me. They don't ride up and I can move freely in them. oh- and POCKETS- enough said!
While I wanted to love these shorts I did have one major issue. I LOVE the patterns, cut, length and the pockets! I ordered the stripe and leopard. However, I really struggled with the liner. I was really unsure of the size I would need so I ordered a small and medium. When trying on the medium they fit and were comfortable, a little loose but would work. However, the liner felt so loose and just floating beneath the shorts like it didn’t hug my butt at all. I was worried about it riding up so I gave that pair to my daughter in law and in hind sight those may have worked better but who knows. I then tried on the small. While a bit more snug I thought this would help the liner stay in place. It definitely did not. It rode up before I even left my house and really did any activity. Then it rode up terrible the entire time during a HIIT class. I never wore the mediums only tried them on so I’m curious if they’d ride up on me as bad. I wish I could try the medium while actually working out! I decided to wear the leopard ones just to lift in. They too crawled but not as bad, not sure what the difference would have been as they were both smalls. I also went on a short hike with both pairs and had the same scenario, striped ones were terrible at crawling up, might as well been wearing a thong. The leopard ones were not as bad but still crawled up. I’m not sure of a solution, maybe a bigger liner(to go around the butt more) and/or different fabric for the liner, or possibly a little more snug of elastic. I really wanted them to work because they are so so cute! I just can’t stand the liner crawling, it’s a deal breaker for me. For reference I am 5'9" and 138 lbs. I’ll maybe try the mediums at a later date.
