Material and fit are fantastic!
As you can see, there is clearly a misprint on the suit. The misalignment is not cute and honestly drove me crazy that the colors didn’t line up like advertised.
The bottoms did not lay flat against my butt. When I walked there was a big gap between the material and my skin. The smalls fit a little better than the mediums so I kept them but after wearing them out to the pool I probably will not wear them again. They just don’t fit my butt as good as they should. It’s to bad too because I really love this suit and got tons of compliments on it.

I’m 5’6”, 120 lbs, small bust. The XS in both top and bottom fit great. I ordered a small in another pattern in the case I wanted to fit into something if I’m bustier post-partum. I looked for ages to find a pattern that complemented my color palette and I’m completely obsessed with this brand overall. I’ve been telling everyone about where I got this suit and I feel so comfortable and confident in it. It’s my best quality swimmer that I own now and I will be returning to shop here and I’m stoked to see what other collections they come up with!

Would've given it 5stars but the sticky patch on the crotch area for hygiene actually stuck to the fabric and left some stickiness behind which is a bit frustrating, I'm still not entirely sure how to get that out and now it's grabbing up lint and anything else in the area and discoloring it slightly. Luckily its on the inside so you can't see it, but I was a bit sad. Anyway the rest of it is great, it is double layered so not see through, and feels compressive around the tummy so pulls in my mom pooch and feels smooth and nice. I am slightly between sizes, but normally fit a medium fine in most things so went with that. It fits great, maybe slightly tight, but I'd say pretty normal for me for medium. I'm hoping it lasts as long as I think it will, but only time will tell, if it holds up this will probably be where I will always buy swim suits because finding quality ones is hard.
These bottoms are pretty great! I think the cheek coverage is just perfect for me—not too granny panty-esque but not too cheeky! The fabric is smooth and feels well made. Only downside is that the waist is a bit loose on me but not uncomfortably so. If it bugs me then I’ll consider taking in the waist. Also the color is more orangey-pink than red & white gingham like I expected, but it’s still cute. I’m typically a small (hips 37” at widest point) and the small fits my booty great!

I want to love these sooo badly! I think the print is so cute! I just don’t feel great about the fit. Im 5’4” and about 150 pounds. I got an XL. They fit my butt ok but were kind of loose around my waist. But the Large was too tight on my butt. I could have made the XL work but my biggest thing was the coverage. I feel like it showed a lot more butt cheek than I was comfortable wearing which is ultimately why I decided to return it. If there is a design in the future that has complete butt coverage I am all in!

These bottoms felt great and I got so many compliments. However, the booty already looks super worn out and I’ve only worn them for 3 or 4 outings. I really thought I’d be a returning customer, bc they had great customer service when I had questions about exchanging the top for another size. But if they get this worn out so fast, that’s disappointing.

Really love these bottoms and was so excited when they came back in stock. The color is beautiful. I did go 1 size up since I've experienced sizing issues with this brand before and have a big booty, and it was the right choice!
I now have these bottoms in 3 different colors. As a mom, I appreciate the high waist and booty coverage when swimming with my toddler. The booty coverage is conservative without feeling like granny panties too. My one complaint is the very top of the waist gets a little loose on when wet but can be adjusted to stop the gapping.
I have a very unique body type and this swimsuit makes me feel so empowered and sexy. Highly recommend!
I really liked the suit. I will say i wish the front came up a little higher or had a little more thickness because post partum belly made it hang a little low

I wear a size 16 with a larger 🍑, The XXL are perfect. I would not size down. I almost did based on the recommendation, and I'm so glad that I did not.

The bottom is great. I also got the top. The top runs a little small. My boobs are popping out with some movements.
Great swim bottoms. Plenty of coverage. They feel secure so I can be happy and confident playing in them. The edge details make it feel fun and cute.
They run just slightly small, but for me that works perfectly. So thankful I have a cute suit to wear at 6m postpartum and feel comfortable in!
Good fit for a high-waisted bikini. Colors are vibrant. Lining is white. One thing to note, the band stripes don't match the rest of the swimsuits so if that is something that would bother you maybe take that into consideration.
This is the first time I’ve ordered from Maven Thread and I absolutely love these bottoms! The sizing is spot on, they are super comfortable AND cute. Can’t wait to wear them surfing!
Unprompted, Maven sent me a replacement for my bottoms that had some stitching problems. These are great and fit perfectly.

I love this swim suit it’s one of my favs! But if they were to adjust a few things with the bottoms they would be way better! The waist is a little too loose, and based off of other reviews others have also said this too. I also feel like if they had an option for bottoms with only an inch cut off so they weren’t so high waisted and fell directly beneath the belly button they would be perfect! But if you like them super high waisted with full coverage these are for you!

The only thing different I would suggest is make the bottom a little longer for long torso women. I do love the bottom just wish it came up a little further.
